Overview

This is the result of me learning how to make music via production of a lofi song. I wanted to do lofi as it’s a pretty easy genera to learn, and I’ve always loved the vibe of lofi

This project wouldn’t have been possible without a friend guiding me through the UI of FL Studio. They taught me alot of tricks, such as scale snapping, triads, and chords.

I used many different pluggins to make the songs. I use FLEX for the bass and guitar section, a custom lofi drum kit, and ik multimedias synthronic to make the synth parts, as well as use an ambiant track for the rain.

I also used pluggins such as reverb and equalizer to get that echoy and lofi feel.

Thoughts

Ive been trying to learn how to make a melody for this, but its really hard to get the right vibe, pacing, and sound, but i am very proud of the base line.

I chose to get the humble bundle bundle that is $25 dollars for 2000 dollars of IK multimedia products, which was a great choice as it is very high quality sounds, samples, and synths.

Despite this, i think the song sounds good for the short bit that it is currently.
